Multiplication by splitting factors



WALT;

I am learning to use my five times tables to work out other multiplication questions.






               We have been leaning about use five times tables to work out other times tables (like ,2,3,4,6,7,8,9, ).

Why
You can split a multiplication question up into two or more parts.
8 x 7 can be changed into
8 x 5 plus 8 x 2
